Warranty coverage varies by manufacturer, tire model, size, and application. The information below summarizes available warranty coverage for products distributed by Platinum Tire Group.
General warranty information
- All manufacturer warranties are limited to the original purchaser and the original vehicle on which the tires were originally installed unless otherwise specified by the manufacturer.
- Warranty coverage applies only to tires that have been properly maintained, operated within their intended application, and used in accordance with vehicle manufacturer recommendations.
- Proof of purchase, maintenance records, tire rotation records, and supporting documentation may be required when submitting a warranty claim.
- All warranty claims remain subject to inspection and final approval in accordance with the applicable manufacturer warranty guidelines.
Venom Power warranty coverage
Standard coverage
- If a Venom Power tire becomes unserviceable due to an eligible manufacturing defect during the first 10% of usable tread life, the tire may qualify for replacement at no charge.
- After the first 10% of tread life, approved claims may qualify for prorated replacement credit based on remaining tread depth until the tire reaches 25% remaining tread depth.
- Customers remain responsible for mounting, balancing, taxes, freight, and any additional service charges.
4-year manufacturer warranty
Venom Power provides a 4-year non-prorated warranty against defects in workmanship and materials under normal operating conditions.
Treadwear warranty
To qualify for treadwear consideration, customers must maintain documented tire rotation records and follow recommended maintenance intervals.

Ameritread provides a 4-year non-prorated warranty against defects in workmanship and materials under normal operating conditions.
Treadwear warranty
To qualify for treadwear consideration, customers must maintain documented tire rotation records and follow recommended maintenance intervals.
Tesche warranty coverage
Warranty eligibility
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Eligible tires must be purchased new, installed on the vehicle for which they were originally purchased, remain on that original vehicle, meet or exceed the load index specified by the vehicle manufacturer, and be used in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer's recommendations. Proof of purchase and original ownership are required for all warranty claims.
Standard coverage
- If a Tesche tire becomes unserviceable as a result of an eligible adjustable condition during the first 2/32" of tread wear, it will be replaced with an equivalent new Tesche tire at no charge.
- When tread wear exceeds 2/32", eligible warranty claims may qualify for prorated replacement based on the amount of original tread worn.
- The replacement charge is determined by multiplying the dealer's current selling price by the percentage of original tread depth worn from the tire.
- Customers remain responsible for mounting and balancing charges, taxes and applicable fees, freight charges, and any difference in cost for a higher-priced replacement tire.
Ride quality coverage
Any Tesche tire that does not provide satisfactory service due to balance issues, out-of-round conditions, or ride quality complaints will be replaced at no charge during the first 2/32" of tread wear. After the first 2/32" of tread wear, these conditions are no longer eligible for warranty adjustment.
Additional information
- Bias-ply and radial tires should not be mixed on the same vehicle due to differences in handling characteristics.
- Tesche racing tires and racing tubes are sold strictly for racing applications and are sold "as is." No warranty applies to racing tires, racing tubes, or tires used in racing applications.
- Running designated race tires on a dynamometer (dyno) will void any applicable warranty coverage.
Treadwear warranty
To qualify, customers must be the original purchaser, retain proof of purchase, rotate tires every 6,000 miles (10,000 km) or less, maintain a completed tire rotation record, present the tire for inspection, and provide maintenance records when requested. If the tire wears to the treadwear indicators before achieving the warranted mileage, a prorated adjustment may be available.
